Setting the stage

Because there's generally no instruction manual with AI ... and because we probably wouldn't bother to read it anyway, these are trial-and-error experiments to see how various AIs work and what they can do for us.

I used the free versions and/or free trials using my generic Google logon. Most had a point system, limiting the number of prompts per day. Points would reset every day. And sometimes there were lengthy queues for each prompt.

Which begs the question, how will I ever get my logon off all these sites or does it matter?

I had so many questions about the repeatability ... which right now doesn't exist. I remember using early Chatgpt trying out coding segments. It would keep the thread of the conversation in memory and keep improving its answers to prompts.

None of the video or image generators I've tried so far do this. Sadly, it's like that Adam Sandler/Drew Barrymore movie, "First Dates."

No memory from one prompt to the next.
