It all comes down to money.

I finally sat down and looked at what I was paying Network Solutions for web hosting, email, privacy, SSL certificates and domain name hosting. Multiple the latter 3 by the number of websites I maintain.

Then I researched other vendors. For individual services, I was paying twice to three times as much as others. The writing is on the wall, as they say.
